This is a very quick and completely anonymous survey of growers, land managers, extension and industry personnel, and other stakeholders to describe the distribution and type of herbicide resistance in New York (NY) State. Participants from outside of NY can also reply; all respondents will be asked in Question 3 to describe where in NY they manage weeds (please select "Outside of New York state").

Are you actively involved with the management of weeds in agricultural, horticultural, natural, urban, or industrial systems? This includes providing recommendations as well as engaging in weed control activities (such as applying herbicides).
In which systems do you manage weeds? (Check all that apply)
In which regions of NY do you manage weeds? (Check all that apply)
Herbicide resistance is defined as: “The ability of a weed to survive and set seed after it has been exposed to a rate of an herbicide THAT WOULD NORMALLY BE LETHAL.”

You can also think of it as: “I used to be able to kill this weed with this rate of herbicide and now I can’t or it is harder than it used to be.”

Do you suspect that there might be herbicide resistant weeds in the system that you farm or manage?
Do you suspect that you might have herbicide resistance in any of the following weed species?
What herbicides or types of herbicides do you think you may have resistance to?
How long do you think you have had herbicide resistant weeds in the system that you farm and manage?
